So, here we give you something else to talk about. 

Come along at 6:45pm and get yourself a FREE drink at the bar. We’ll pair you up, then set you on a light-hearted writing exercise to get you laughing and chatting together in no time.

When this is done, we’ll put you with a new partner and do the same again.

Each time, we’ll give you quotes, anecdotes, conversation starters, and other friendly writing exercises to keep things flowing.

This is a speed dating event hosted by A Write & a Pint.

It’s an event with no pressure and loads of fun.

For anyone who’s tired of feeling tongue-tied in bars and clubs and thinks they might be ready to find a new partner.

For anyone, at all, with so much as a vague interest in culture, politics or the creative arts, hoping to meet new and like-minded people in South East London.

Our speed-dating event is only £20 to attend + this includes a free drink (a wine, beer or single-shot mixer) from the bar when you arrive.

You can expect to meet between 10 and 20 new people each time. + The bar will still be open for anybody who’d like to stay afterwards, so you can keep on socialising.

Never fear: no experience of writing or dating is necessary.

Just an open heart and a kind soul. Let us take care of the rest!
